Baby update

Zanzibar Nursery Bedding

As of today I am 24 weeks or 6 months. The baby has been extremely active. It now has its schedule. It wakes me up and keeps me up :) . That’s its schedule! It’s very reassuring to be awaken by thumping in your tummy.

The nursery is almost finished. All we need is the crown molding and chair rail. So far it looks just the way I wanted it. I had Eric working round the clock to try to get it painted. We worked so hard, but very pleased with the result. We used a glaze and tinted it ourselves with regular paint. We sponged the top half and I spent about 3 hours taping the bottom half to make exact width stripes. Like I said it was a lot of work, but well worth it. I used a green color to go with the jungle theme. The sponging even looks like tree leaves so we might make a tree out of plaster. I will post a link to the bedding so you can get an idea of what the print looks like.
