4th of July 2005

Well, the 2005 installment of 4^th of July has come & gone for us. What’s that? You say today is the 4^th? Yes, you are correct. What I mean by this is that we have already celebrated the holiday. Every year my family gets together at my aunt & uncle’s house in Richmond/Rosenberg (which I wrote a little more about here). For convenience, we had our festivities on the 3^rd, instead of the 4^th. This year seemed hotter than all the rest. If it wasn’t in the triple digits, it sure felt like it.

So, what did we actually do on the 4^th? After Elizabeth watered the lawn I groomed, we roasted corn [on the cob], ate leftover lasagna, and drank non-alcoholic piña coladas (we’re pregnant, remember?) while we watched everyone in our neighborhood shoot off fireworks.

Oh, and congratulations to my friends Jason and Cassie for getting hitched today @ 9:50am.
