As of today I am 24 weeks or 6 months. The baby has been extremely active. It now has its schedule. It wakes me up and keeps me up :). That’s its schedule! It’s very reassuring to be awaken by thumping in your tummy.
The nursery is almost finished. All we need is the crown molding and chair rail. So far it looks just the way I wanted it. I had Eric working round the clock to try to get it painted. We worked so hard, but very pleased with the result. We used a glaze and tinted it ourselves with regular paint. We sponged the top half and I spent about 3 hours taping the bottom half to make exact width stripes. Like I said it was a lot of work, but well worth it. I used a green color to go with the jungle theme. The sponging even looks like tree leaves so we might make a tree out of plaster. I will post a link to the bedding so you can get an idea of what the print looks like.

So he says that I said, “build me a website and I will write more”. Funny thing is that he is always looking at starting a new site and will write on just about anything, including what he talks about with his dear friend. He should have posted the one about them discussing vacuum cleaners. Thats when you know they are married or soon to be. So here I am finally posting again for the second time ever on any of his web-sites.
Tonight I finished one of my classes at St. Thomas. What a relief!! Even though I still have class at night I am still enjoying my summer “off.” We even made a quick get away trip last weekend to Cozumel to enjoy our last summer not carrying a diaper bag. I will be leaving it up to Eric to write about the trip. For now I know he has some pictures up.
I promised Eric that I will be posting more. A lot of you have asked me how the pregnancy is going so this will be the easiest way of keeping in touch. Stay tune and I will write more about the baby.

That’s a question Elizabeth asks me every so often. She wants to know how his wedding plans are going while I want to know if he reached the warp level on Super Mario Bros.
You see, the conversations between Jason and I have always been like this. We aren’t long-lost friends or even casual acquaintances. We’re tight. We’re on the same level. We’re one with each other (in a non-homosexual sort of way… not that there’s anything wrong with that). Simply put, we’ve strongly shared the same interests since pre-90’s.
I could talk for days about our friendship, but what I’m getting at is our IM discussions. Almost daily, we talk about things of interest [to us]. A while back I stated I’m going to blog those conversations. Well, that day is today. Starting with March 30 (because that’s as far back as my logs go for this year since my last PC HDD crash), I’ll be posting a few topics at a time. Maybe you’ll find something of interest, but probably you’ll be bored (if you don’t care what we’re talking about).
So, here’s a list of the posts/topics. I hope you’ll find parts of this and future posts at least a little useful.

Well, it finally happened. I’m going to be the proud owner of a new iMac G5. Primarily for design related reasons, but also part new interest in OS X (v 10.4 Tiger). I’m not ignorant to Macs. My brothers have been fanatics about them since their debut. I, on the other hand have been a PC user since I was about 15. I’ve nothing against Macs (except for their price), but everything I need to do, I can do on a PC for about a fourth of the price. That, and I had a long stint as a PC technician.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to working with this Mac. I have already had an unpleasant experience with Apple which I will detail here later.
