We got to float the Guadalupe River for the second time on Memorial weekend. I would have to say this trip was a lot more tame. No popped tubes, no concussions, no hangovers. Despite missing those essentials, we still had a great time.

The soaring gas prices are outragous!! It also doesn’t help when you drive 2 or 3 big V8’s (which are all for sale by the way). So, I found a couple of links that might help:
http://www.houstongasprices.com
http://www.gasbuddy.com
I found the first link from the second. GasBuddy is a nation-wide list of gas prices for select cities. Let’s hope we won’t have to take out a loan to pay for our gas!

Yes, we really do have grass in our backyard. Can you believe it?? It only took us a year and 6 months to finally get grass installed… a mistake we won’t repeat.
By some miracle (and a little fertilizer) it’s become really healthy in less than a month. It’s almost looks like we’ve had it from the beginning.
And I never thought I’d enjoy mowing the lawn.

Our good friend James Cunningham had his 10th Annual Crawfish Boil this weekend. The food was awesome. I think I broke my stomach. It?s grown well beyond crawfish, seeing as they now have burgers, dogs, BBQ chicken, hog, sausage, gumbo, wings, brisket, and James? famous cajun fried turkey. All my favorite food groups were there.
